Throughout the 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century, Rainwater was considered the most prestigious wine style in the USA. According to historical research, the wine had a paler style, with a delicate texture and little oxidation. Inspired by an 1825 Rainwater, this blend was made from 85% Verdelho from 2014 and 15% of a 2017 Sercial. Delicate, very fine on the palate with a well-balanced acidity, flavours of yellow plum. Finesse in a fresh and persistent finish.
