A very special bottling made to celebrate 200 years of history from The Macallan. inspired by and paying tribute to past whisky masters, this stunning release is made from a diverse inventory including only the most exceptional European and American Oak casks seasoned with sherry and American Oak casks which previously held Bourbon create layers of complexity and voluptuous depth in aroma, flavour and texture.
Bottled in an impressive bespoke, unique circular decanter – representing the circle of life - and housed in an extraordinary presentation box with 200 spikes devised from traditional origami techniques. A real sweetness is evident with sherry-seasoned dry fruits, orange marmalade and honeycomb. Soft spiced notes of ginger and cinnamon.
