Set in Wicklow or the garden county. Barr an Uisce which translates to above the water, It is also the Irish name given to Barraniskey, which is a town land set in the heart of County Wicklow, on the East Coast of Ireland. This is where the whiskey gets its name and where the distillery is based in the village of Redcross where the founder Ian Jones is from.
