Powerscourt Distillery
Distilling started in June 2018, with the first barrels laid down in August of that year. Founding Master Distiller and Blender Noel Sweeney had previously distilled and laid down their aged range of Fercullen Irish Whiskey, allowing Fercullen to be launched at Whiskey Live Dublin in late 2018. Powerscourt Distillery is now paving the way for a new era of whiskey making in Co.Wicklow under the watchful eye of Master Distiller -Paul Corbett and Head of Whiskey- John Cashman. Both men are visionaries with expert knowledge and experience in the Irish whiskey category.
