The Diplomatico Planas replaces the former Diplomatico Blanco Reserva and remains to be six years old. Fresh and tropical aromas lead on to slightly fruity and creamy flavors and a delicate yet pronounced finish. Charcoal filtration has then been used to remove the colour, which is great for mixologists — no colour alteration to the cocktail but still plenty of aged rum flavour.
