JJ Corry The Battalion
Named after the Battalion San Patricos - a group of Irish men who fought in Mexico for the Mexican/American War in 1846. This is the world's first Irish whiskey to be finished in tequila and mezcal casks. The blend is comprised of 60% 9 Year Old Grain & 40% 13 Year Old Malt. The vatted grain was finished in a combination of tequila and mezcal casks for seven months whilst the malt was finished in only mezcal casks for seven months. Batch one is limited to 700 bottles.
