Tasting Notes from the Producer
Aromas (without water) The nose is rich with fruity, sherried smokiness accompanied by seaweed and light creosote, dried chili flakes, spicy black pepper and hints of sweet oakiness.
Palate (without water) Sip to find powerful, rich, sherried, herbal smoky flavours with orange peel, coffee, a touch of sea salt, tobacco and white pepper. The finish is long and quite pungent with more smoke and a delightful hint of liquorice and sea spray.
