Created through a careful selection of wheat, oats, and barley and following a long-lasting local recipe from the Mourne family, Killowen are the latest in the country to produce top quality artisian poitin. This small batch is crafted with a combination of malted and unmalted grains. This once illegal spirit is now seeing a strong revival in Ireland and Killowen Poitin can sit comfortably with its Gaelic peers.
