Bowmore 10 Year-Old Tempest
We have been very impressed with this series of releases from Bowmore distillery. What you get with the Tempest is Bowmore in its most naked, purest form. This is entirely matured in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at natural cask strength. This have some delicious sweet and creamy flavours along with a medium level of smoke. however the smoke seems to be heightened when tasted at full strength. In addition this seems to have a more pronounced sea-air character than other Bowmore bottlings.
