The Last Drop 1968 Glenrothes Single Cask 13504
The start of the Glenrothes Trilogy whereby two casks were released from one of the most acclaimed Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distilleries — 13504 & 13508. These whiskies were distilled and put into casks in 1968 in which they spent their entire maturation until they were bottled in 2018. Two more releases from 1969 and 1970 - each also comprising slightly different Single Casks - will follow in 2019 and 2020, thereby completing a unique Glenrothes trilogy. Only 309 bottles were produced (168 bottles of cask 13504 and 141 bottles of cask 13508). They were rewarded 95.5 points (cask 13508) and 96.5 points (cask 13504) by Jim Murray.
