The Quinta Do Ruban has been matured for 10 years in standard American white oak (Bourbon) casks before spending a further two years in ruby Port wine pipes. The Port casks add a nice touch of red fruit, turkish delight and spiced chocolate notes to the Glenmorangie. A smooth a gently fruity whisky without any harsh, smoky flavours.
